XI International Conference on Virtual Campus
On 30 September and 1 October, the Research Institute for Educational Sciences (IUCE) of the University of Salamanca will host the XI International Conference on Virtual Campus. The Conference is organised by the GRIAL Research Group (https://grial.usal.es), the University Network of Virtual Campus (http://www.uajournals.com/jornadascampusvirtuales/www.campusvirtuales.net), the IEEE Education Society (https://ieee-edusociety.org) and the Spanish Chapter of the IEEE Education Society (http://www.ieectqai.uned.es/WebIEEE/IEEE_ES_cap_es/).
The conference will be held in a hybrid format, so that attendees will be able to attend in person and also follow the conference online via YouTube. 1st Conference on Educational Innovation with a Gender Perspective
During the afternoon of Thursday 30 September, at 17:00 CET (Madrid), a roundtable on gender and diversity in STEM will take place. The roundtable will be moderated by Carina González and Alicia García-Holgado and will include the participation of Silvia Rueda (University of Valencia and Chair of the Gender Digital Divide), Milagros Sáinz (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and director of the Gender and ICT research group) and Pedro Plaza (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia and president of the IEEE student branch at UNED).

Roundtable on open education at the university
In addition, a special session dedicated to open education will also be organised as part of the conference on Thursday 30 September at 11:00 CET (Madrid).
This session will feature a roundtable moderated by Francisco José García Peñalvo and three experts in open education: Colin de la Higuera (University of Nantes, France), António Teixeira (Universidade Aberta, Portugal) and Daniel Burgos (UNIR, Spain).
