The Universidad Técnica del Norte (UTN), through the International Project “Building the future of Latin America: engaging women into STEM”, organized the event “Competitive Professional Profile” This activity was designed for the students and graduates of the different careers of the University.
The talk aimed to provide tips and tools to create a Competitive Professional Profile. Strategic allies that improve university students’ professional profiles were discussed during the talk, such as soft skills, global skills, volunteering, professional networks, personal branding, and good practices when using social networks in the professional field. All this to increase the opportunities for university students in the labor market.
The online event was completely free and took place on November 10, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (GTM-5) through the Teams platform. As a result of the event, a total of 151 registered students were obtained, with the participation of students from the careers of all the Faculties (5) of the UTN.
