The 
Universidad Tecnica del Norte, through the International Project “Building the future of Latin America: engaging women into STEM”, organized a series of conferences called “Entrepreneurial Culture”. The first talk was about the “Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship Program – WISE Latin America in Ecuador” This activity was intended for students and graduates of different careers of the University.
The Talk presented the WISE Program and informed about all the opportunities and practical tools for creating new and innovative enterprises with a technological and scientific base. During the presentation, the WISE Program Coordinator announced that the WISE Latin America Program is currently being developed in Ecuador – Cycle 3, and that there is the possibility of obtaining a scholarship that covers up to 90% of the program. All people with a degree in science, arts or engineering, students of related careers (having completed at least the 3rd year of university) or people who have science and technology ventures can participate in this program by applying for the scholarship.
The online event was completely free and took place on November 17, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (GTM-5) through the Teams platform. As a result of the event, there was students’ participation from all the Faculties (5) of the Technical University of the North.
